Shameful masquerading or flip-flop attitude, which one are you or both? The hyperbole in this thread is shocking and hardly worthy of mentioning again if only to slap you down like the prophetic fools several of you are mimicking. After reading more on this site I hope to not find such religious droning from those that claim to be atheist. What a horrible introduction to this Athesist website......the moderators should be taking this trash thread and placing it a different area like "Ranting Without Reason". It doesn't belong in atheist discussion and only fools would think so, unfortunately.

I agree with you for the most part. It just that what Trump has proposed would do serious damage to the US and the world. Just the mere fact that he won't support climate change initiatives alone is going to be a major problem

The only people I see saying stuff like "Get over it" are the people whose lives won't be affected. Realize that a Republican-controlled government is bad for many people.

"The Sky is Falling!!!! The Sky is Falling!!!"

The best thing that came with the PPACA and ultimately the only thing any good about it is the, "No more pre-exsisting condtions means you can't be denied coverage, charged more, or denied treatment based on health status", and that will never be removed, ever.

When he says he wants to repeal obamacare in full, he meant IN FULL. And if you repeal every part of it except that one little part then you have millions of people that don't get subsidies, which means they don't get insurance, which means insurance companies will have to charge so much to citizens with pre existing condition, which means they won't be able to afford it!

Its funny that the party of "fiscal conservatives" like all the parts of the bill that cost a lot of money but hate the parts that pay for it. Or maybe it would just make more sense to not have healthcare as a for profit business but then, capitalism, or some bullshit like that wouldn't able to make the system so great? Because the healthcare industry was so great before Obamacare right?

Check the "DRUMPFUCKS BEING DICKS" thread. Also, you are aware that the judges that Trump wants to appoint to the Supreme Court has gone on record saying he wants to overturn Roe v Wade and Obergefell v Hodges, correct? And that Justice Ginsberg doesn't seem to have a lot of time left? The things I'm saying are not far-fetched.

We'll see what Trump's "plan" is in the coming months but I think they'll be able to dismantle quite a bit more than you think.

This conversation with you has passed into the realm of fantasy. The only fact that has "happened"  in reality is Clinton fanatics causing riots, damaging property etc... so your hyperbole is without merit. You must be able to discern between the actual and what your mind is playing on you, until then I really cannot continue to speak with you on this particular subject for you are unarmed to deal. However, if its atheism and religion you would like to pick up for conversation I would be all to happy to commit to a new thread.

Its certainly clear that you have an enormously overactive imagination and are subject to extreme hyperbole and bouts of fantasy. This is only my fourth post between three people and you say I disagree with everyone and everything? Muslims wipe everyone out? Perhaps a world plague has gone through and I didn't notice that there only three people left in the world? Hmmmm, no. Get a grip, stop choosing to act the juvenile.

Hi Plixin.

Can I interest you in making an introduction thread?
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

The "world".......I don't delve into hyperbole its gets nowhere. I would be willing to continue this if you would bring up specific examples so we can "hash it out" as they say. I'm leaving for an early supper soon but leave me with a few specifics and I'll return in kind this evening. Smile

Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm known for round these parts.  Constantly imagining things and blowing them entirely out of proportion...........what can I say, I'm a credulous wide eyed dreamer. Rolleyes

There is a prophecy in Daniel chapter 2 and part of it is speaking of a kingdom that was represented  by iron mixed with clay. And the scripture says that it was strength mixed with the common people. Is this nothing other than indoctrination nagging at me? Am I crazy to think that Donald Trump is going destroy Americas economy and place in the worlds power structure? And he only could have been elected by a majority of non-informed common people.

There's a prophecy about the doings and undoings of the United States? In what book?
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

RE: My atheism religious faith is being shaken...
OP prepare for your atheism to be shaken EVEN MORE!!! Because Christians also found prophecy that Trump and Melania are illuminaty on Denver International Airport Mural:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWZbIEPi2QM
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I think the "prophesy" speaks more of Rome than of any modern state. Though it could be applied to any state at any period, Athens, Carthage, Persia, Spain, Britain, France, Russia, China, North Korea... Show me one it doesn't apply to.
