"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

No, and nor do I think it should. Trump was elected under the system that exists in the US no matter how flawed it may be, as others who have lost the popular vote have been before.
You thought Trump supporters were nuts before? Now imagine giving them their victory and then having the establishment they so despise snatching it away. How the fuck do you think they'll react? If you have any serious concerns, are being harassed, or just need someone to talk to, feel free to contact me via PM
Not a chance.
Technically, they could.

However, these violators often only face being charged with a misdemeanor or a small fine, usually $1,000. Many constitutional scholars agree that electors remain free agents despite state laws and that, if challenged, such laws would be ruled unconstitutional. It's an idea but if it happened, wouldn't the house pick the President? Not a good idea.

And then you'll have woken up. |
