I saw. I think a lot of these workers would fall under the category of people who have already made a life here. And immigrants can certainly come here... just please do it legally.

I was looking at the wrong thing. I went back and saw the chart you posted. Though I will say I agree with Tibs. It looks like a big pain, but it is doable. My family did it coming from South America, after all. I think that chart looks intimidating bc of the several different routes you can take.

To the conversation about illegal immigrants, I'd rather not have illegal immigrants in this country either. Do you know what a good solution to that is? Make it easier to come here legally, since it's far too difficult for anyone without huge bank accounts to do that right now.

Of course, that's usually met with "but terrorists will move in with them!" sorts of fear tactics. Yeah, I'm sure they care about being here legally.

If your opinion is that there isn't anything racist going on with "immigration reform" in this country, or if your opinion is that the path to citizenship is equally available to all...then you don't get to cover your eyes and ears and hide behind this board, Tibs.  Not that we actually need to leave this board to fish up a racist that's beating it about a border wall to keep all the mexicans out.

Either we're going to have a discussion about the reality of the situation, or we're going to scrub it to avoid an uncomfortable realization.  You can count me out of the latter, that shits not even worth talking about.
