Teenage surgery without parent's consent

Oh, nice. Pine cones not good enough for you? A twist of grass just wouldn't do?

hehehe

The musician?  I'm not getting it.   Sad

Yep, but it's only a myth.

It's not a myth, he did it. Texans are still pissed about it (pffft I'm hilarious!)

Ozzy was god in our house growing up, I adore him. That being said I love my state more and I get why he got in so much trouble for peeing on something so special to us as the Alamo.

Apparently this is happening in Minnesota with a teen who wants to transition into a woman and the mom is saying no. Was curious to know yall's opinions on the legal side of things.

I'd say after 16 yes they should be allowed without their parents consent.

I've always thought the more important questions are who's paying for the surgery.

But parental consent isn't a big deal to me either way.  Parents I suppose are statistically less likely to make sudden emotional stupid decisions.  But other people have said that the medical procedure doesn't happen instantly so whoever it is that's getting the surgery has lots of time to change their mind.

I'm pretty sure when you're answering questions like these and laying down hypothetical laws it's basically just guess work.  I guess 16 would be a pretty good age to give teenagers the right to change their hormones and surgically cut their body up to make it different.  16, it's a nice number I'll go with that.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

Now I'm jealous.  Do you attribute that to your Catholicism?  Maybe if I were less thoroughly hirsute I would convert.  So, guess not.

I don't think so. My husband is also Catholic and his poops are THE worst. He has IBS so he gets diarrhea very often. Also, every time he poops, it takes like 20+ minutes and he always has to poop 3-4 times a day.

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Hahaha! I have too fine of a butt hole for that.  Smile

Surgery to passing waste in the woods, what a tangent
