You can 100% apply your moral objections to others, because you've got God putting his stamp on it, which gives it authority over everyone, whether they believe it or not. I'm with you on fetus's being humans. Seems pretty clear. But what we see from a lot of Catholics, is the "I think it's murdering an innocent baby, but I respect their right to choose." Which, to me, is exactly the same as what I was saying about it being fine for people who don't value human life to kill the Syrian Refugees. Yes to sociopathy. Well I'm sorry for your condition, as I know you have no control over it. But that doesn't mean you can't still think hurting others is Immoral regardless of whether or not you have empathy for them.
As for abortion, I don't think anyone has the right to choose to kill any other innocent person. I could just as easily say "slavery is wrong, but if you don't believe blacks are ppl, I respect your right to choose to enslave them." Anyway, moving on. I don't want to turn this into another abortion thread.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I don't bare them any ill will, I'm just indifferent. I can't care about them anymore than you could not care about them, I imagine. I bet you cry every morning in name of the kids at Africa lolz (December 6, 2016 at 11:49 pm)Catholic_Lady Wrote: Well I'm sorry for your condition, as I know you have no control over it. Nothing to be sorry about...well, the pits of hell, I suppose from your pov. Although can God really screw me on that one, when I gots a broke brain? And good for you on your abortion stance, I think your reasoning is 100% spot on, and you're doing Catholicism right. RE: My (probably unpopular) opinion on arab refugees

And taking away innocent human life is an objectively immoral thing to do. It isn't "just fine" so long as the person who does the killing doesn't care. I think someone who doesn't feel the same way probably has something not right with them. What was your point anyway? If you have a mental disorder of which you did not choose, it is taken into account.

Terrible answer CL. Being hypersensitive does not make you a better person than me. And yes, being hypersensitive is a thing according to psychologists.
Crying like crazy for everyone suffering in the world makes you immature. (December 7, 2016 at 12:38 am)Macoleco Wrote: Terrible answer CL. Seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy -- myself.
