Ah, yes, the "true meaning of Christmas." You mean that Christians hijacked a pagan holiday to celebrate the birth of their savior with pagan rituals when their holy book itself makes it clear he was born at a different time? Would you think he was a grinch if he had told them that truth?
I would have punched that guy in the dick.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

And as usual, Drich misses the point by at least two galaxies.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

(December 13, 2016 at 2:07 am)Luckie Wrote: Evangelical pastor David Grisham filmed himself pulling off the stunt at Amarillo’s Westgate Mall in an effort to teach kids “that Christmas is about Jesus Christ,” then posted the video to his Facebook page Saturday. “Kids, I want to tell you today that there is no such thing as Santa Claus,” he’s heard hollering while walking alongside the long line of kids and their parents. “The man you’re going to see today is just a man in a suit, dressed up like Santa, but Santa does not exist,” he continues. “Santa’s not real. And parents you all need to stop lying to your children and telling them that Santa Claus is real when in fact he’s not.””* Sorry, did you link to the wrong video? All I hear is a big baby crying. ![]() RE: Poll: Christians, is this man a hero or a Grinch in your eyes?

Yet more evidence that there are people in the world who would be vastly improved by a punch in the throat.

You never have a heavy pointy icicle when you really need one.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

You know that feeling when you see something and really wish you were there? This guy would have been a wicked ton of fun to fuck with. Why does this stuff never happen to me?

Pastor Grisham failed to tell the children Jesus celebrated Hanukah.
Hey Grisham, WHY NOT PREACH THE CONTROVERSEY ? The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
