Seriously, though. I would love to watch these two debate.
Motion: "Was Jesus of Nazareth both an historical figure and Divine"
Number of Posts: 1 opening statement each, Drich to start in the affirmative, 2 posts each for rebuttal, 1 post each for closing statements.
Time Limits: No more than 7 days between replies.
I volunteer to moderate.
Maybe Tiberious can make exception for a more "free-wheeling" exchange.

I can't speak for Tiberius but that sets a precedent that I am personally not in favor of setting.

I'm not sure it's a good idea to use the debate forum to intentionally source high comedy.....but I have to admit, the worst part of me totally thinks it is.

But the total number of posts is still limited to 8 (4 each). It is up to the debaters to decide how wisely they use their posts.
Perhaps the motion would have to be simplified: "Was there an Historical Jesus of Nazareth" or "Was Jesus of Nazareth a Myth". The former puts Drich in the affirmative. Icon would be the affirmative for the later.

Yeah, they obviously just want to get together in an exclusive yet exhibitionist way. Could be entertaining. Thanks for offering to take the helm, Chad. But please put a word limit on each post. I don't mind smilies along with color and font changes, but I've got stuff to do. If they want to do it in the road with me watching, I think they should be able to get it on with less than a phone book's worth per post.
