Anyone notice how those Deplorables are still angry even though their savior won the election? Well I think this article sums it up quite well. They're angry that other people who they don't like have rights and  they know they won't be able to change that under a Trump presidency.

Same in UK. The Brexiteers are all still angry as hell at something even though they got their hearts desire. Maybe they are worried they were fooled by the demagogues and hate people for pointing it out. It's easier to fool someone than to convince them they've been fooled.

Brexiteers are angry, because they're scared. Most of them seem too dumb to comprehend what's coming, but they probably realize, that their leaders had no plan for leaving EU, beyond having a referendum on it. All they've been fed - before and since the vote - are slogans and meaningless, abstract concepts, like "hard Brexit", "soft Brexit", "black-and-blue Brexit", "Brexit with chocolate sauce and a side of ice-cream" and the like.

It must be clear even to the dim-wits, that their future is largely dependent on "diplomats" of such magnitude, as Boris Johnson and Michael Gove, and on how effective they will be at managing the difficult and unprecedented process of leaving the EU. And it must be clear, that they still know nothing and they have no influence on what their government is going to do, until the next elections.

They're nervous and they're getting ready to blame whomever they can - except themselves, naturally - once the negative effects of Brexit become too apparent to be deflected with mindless chest-beating, dumb internet memes and fantasies about historic triumphs.

I imagine Drumpf*cks will go through similar stages, except at least Trump is only going to be president for a limited time - in fact, he'll be gone before Brexit process is truly over and done with...

Let's talk about all the protestors that DIDN'T riot, since the news is ignoring the vast majority of the protests.

Here is one on the college campus near me.  Not a single incident, all peaceful walkout and protest by hundreds of students and teachers.

I have friends marching in Seattle as well, and no issues there.  Portland police talked to the protesters ahead of time, and told them not to block traffic, and again, so far no issues at all.  But do you see any of that on the news?  No.

Yea lets equate the few to the majority. I think you fail to recognize where his demagoguery will lead or can lead long term. You think 100 are alot. What about the countless beaten and lynched in the past. What about Harvey Milk being murdered or gays being arrested en mass. What about Susan B Anthony having the shit beat out of her.

You're also completely unreasonable in how you're considering the protest arrests. You want to justify it by comparing it to crimes in the past. This is absurd. If there is a comparison to be made it would be to the number of republican protestors arrested and behaving similarly in '08.

Any good con, political, religious or marketing scam starts with those who don't take the time to be skeptical before swallowing. Dangle a bullshit utopia in front of anxious masses and you can get them to vote in stupid ways and act in violent ways.

Oh, I've spent plenty of time trying to understand other points of view (for example, I din't once demonise Clinton voters despite her view being directly opposed to my own), but when you find it expedient to vote for a racsist, homophobic, misogynistic and sociopathic dictator wannabe, I see no reason to pull my punches.

It's not like the deplorables ever respected common decency in the first place.

I give Bella credit for rethinking her positions, something very few ever do. I just wish my sister wasn't such a hateful person. She'll probably always be angry and see conspiracy theories everywhere and go on believing that hateful fat bastard billionaires are our best hope.
