I do all my email in Firefox with No Script running. Just in case.

I tried getting them to send the money to me and I'd make sure "it gets to the right parties" but I can't lie with a straight face, even via email.  Angry

Can I just send the money to you? I'm not sure about the process but you seem to know the ins and outs.

Can I just show a picture of my credit card in this thread and you take care of the billing?

I've been getting voicemails from the IRS (about 3 in the last year) saying they are filing a suit against me.... Seemed vary suspicious, but did come from a DC number. Apparently if you send them a visa cash card, it will all go away!

I'm not really shocked that people fall for this stuff, the internet is not something to be taken lightly as we all know here. People join and they do not even bother to learn about the very system they are using. It should be basic knowledge that you never trust a email asking for money (unless it's a bill or a source you know of.) A sucker is born everyday though, and the stupid will always been taken advantage of.

This is a known scam; one of my co-workers got a call from these assholes, called the FBI, and got the skinny on them.

Turns out the Russians were involved in that 2014 incursion. Who would have thought such of them!
