What makes your faith true?

RE: What makes your faith true?
What would Xenu say about that ?!?!?!?!?
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Because I personally know God, we have a real relationship and no it's not one sided.

Ok, but how do you know you personally know God and you are not actually delusional?[\quote]

How do you.know you are not delusional? I show no signs of delusion, the only ones who say I am are unqualified people on this forum who haven't the slightest idea what they are talking about. To me it is they who appear delusional, believing they are professional doctors.

The Emperors of Japan have all died, Muhammad's revelations haven't come true and he is also dead, Krishna had a father and mother therefore created, therefore Krishna has no providence. Those who worship these deities may have faith in them, but those deities are shaky at best.
My God was not created, has always been and will always be, His promises have always been true and as creator has providence over all things, so I can't be like them because my God is unlike theirs in every way that's positive.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Oh, poor poor GC.

Such a victim of a centuries long deception.

The trick with delusions is that they seem real to the delusional person. Of course you wouldn't see the signs. That's not enough to be sure your beliefs are actually true.

While I'm not saying you are necessarily delusional, just saying that you aren't doesn't really help much.

Well that is an answer from the faith, like "Well, the Dalai Lama reincarnates. Duh!"

Certainly you don't think they don't see your god as any better then you see theirs?

Those people which gods you downplay don't see them "just as fake humans", but see Krishna as as a son of god that came to destroy sins.
They could also and do downplay your god the same way. They could say his prophecies failed like "there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until [they see Jesus returning in his kingdom]" - which did not happen; or when he said that stars will fall from heaven - meaning that he didn't know what stars are and he certainly didn’t understand the size of a star or its distance in relation to the earth.
Jews dedicated many webpages explaining how Jesus was not the messiah, like JewFAQ.org’s article "Mashiach: The Messiah."

And they could say he was not son of god by using christian's own scriptures, just like you're supposedly using theirs. Because of that there were (and still are) even Christian denominations that don't see Jesus as god but as an inspired man like: Ebionites, Unitarians, Arians.

Also people that have personal relationship with emperor of Japan could downplay your faith just as you did theirs. You say that because emperor of Japan dies people can't have supernatural personal relationship with him and yet even to people like yourself death and even human origins (although emperor is seen as divine) was never a barrier to think that they have a supernatural relationship with somebody, like with saints.

So what makes you think your criticisms against their gods are any better then their criticisms of your god (like for example JewFAQ.org’s article “Mashiach: The Messiah,”)?

RE: What makes your faith true?
Godschild, would you be kind enough to answer me one more question: You agree that people of other religions who claim they have relationships with their deities are delusional, so do you think there is any chance that you could also be delusional? Do you at least entertain that possibility or do you think it's impossible?

Just asking if it could be possible? What do you think?

And while you're answering here's how George Harrison, the guitarist for the Beatles described his relationship with god Krishna:
"If there’s a God, I want to see Him. It’s pointless to believe in something without proof, and Krishna Consciousness and meditation are methods where you can actually obtain GOD perception. You can actually see God, and Hear Him, play with Him. It might sound crazy, but He is actually there, actually with you."

Big Grin Don't ask George Michael that, he's dead.

"Before this river
Becomes an ocean
Before you throw my heart back on the floor
Oh baby I reconsider
My foolish notion
Well I need someone to hold me
But I wait for something more

Yes I've gotta have faith
Unh I gotta faith
Because I gotta to have faith, faith, faith
I gotta to have faith, faith, faith"

The more ardently you believe it, the more truer it becomes.  The secret is in the ardentness.
