You believe in the Christian God, and the Resurrection, 6 day creation, Original Sin and that world is 600 years old?

But how do you know "god" makes it true? Is it like GC said that you know this because of a deep, heartfelt “feeling,” for lack of a better word?
I presume you believe that your actions on Earth are a good indicator of whether you’ll go to heaven or hell, which you believe are real, physical places?

We both believe they are physical places, we both believe in the only real God. Heartfelt works but the thing that happens is God speaks to us through the spirit He created us with all man kind has this spirit and if you ignore it you'll never hear from God.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Okay, I really am trying to understand this, so please I want you to play along. Let’s say that God told you to kill all red haired people. And you’re sure, I mean you’re absolutely freakin' positive it’s God. You just feel it in your heart. Would you do so? Would you kill all red haired people?
I mean this is not so unusual if you look at the Bible and Moses for instance, so please as a thought experiment answer me.

FM, from what I know, all theists hear things from God which is exactly what coincides with what they want...always. Irrespective of how he answers, it can never happen.
No God, No fear.

To the OP, why should I open myself up to mockery since this thread is most likely just a set-up?

Seems to me you're begging for an answer, why, to mock me, that's been what you do to me all the time. To prove what I'm saying is correct read your own post above you are begging because you know that's what it would take to get me to answer. I'm not playing your little game. Besides I do not do the pretend thing and you would know this if you had taken my posts with at least a grain of salt and tried to get to know me instead of blurting out a bunch of insults, so whether you are being honest or baiting me you've cried, "the sky is falling" to many times to either get your answer to actually understand or too mock me.

1 Peter 3:15?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

The reason I believe in my faith is that I asked God in prayer if it was true, and He answered me.  This experience is evidence to me that Mormonism is true.  Of course, my evidence isn't something I can share with anybody else, but I definitely advocate the method.  Try it and find out!  Be advised though that an answer is only likely to come if you're ready to follow it.

Best!

I cut myself a delicious-looking salt beef sandwich, but I wasn't sure if I was ready to eat it. So I tossed a coin and based on the interpretation I used, it told me I wasn't. Each time I tried, it came up the same, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern style.

I really hope the coin decides that I'm ready to eat the sandwich soon, because I'm quite partial to salt beef and it's making me really hungry. It's a shame to have to throw it away on the whim of a coin toss.
