Wait I'm genuinely confused. We have an apparently French-Canadian and an apparently Muslim-background Canadian (going by the names of the suspects) shooting up a Mosque. Was Bisonette a radicalised convert or was Khadir some kind of mentally warped brown white supremacist?
I'm sure our identity politics driven society will have a field day trying to work out what happened.

Wait for details. Might be an inter-muslim attack as well as some anti muslim attack. In both cases the perps were obviously targeting a peaceful mosque. According to the news, the mosque has been attacked before - though non violently, by dropping pig heads and spraying anti muslim graffiti.

He wouldn't have to be a brown white supremacist. Radical Muslims kill more Muslims than they do anyone else.

"Radical" carries a different connotation than "pious" does. And I don't see "radical" as particularly accurate considering Mohammad's take on the Abrahamic God.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

As for identity politics seems pretty straight forward this guy is likely a radical nut who's angry other Muslims are not radical nuts
As for idea it was a immigrant so what? One attack out of a long period of peace and integration. And heck the Muslim prep is the one who is cooperating then that proves to me even more our policies on immigrants are working.
