To be fair, when I was a guest of HRM, I was treated pretty well, although I did get 28 days in solitary for threatening a warder.

So you deserved it then.
I didn't 'deserve' to be there in the first place. The little feep prodded me with his truncheon and I told him if he touched me again, I was going to turn his face into something that would give his children nightmares.
Standing up for yourself when you been unjustly arrested and detained doesn't merit four solid weeks in a 5x8.

I think you got off lightly with that punishment. You may or may not have deserved to have been there in the first place but you definitely deserved solitary for threatening a guard who merely prodded you.
