That's a meme that is going to lead to disastrous results one day.  I wanna see the Fresh Prince of Bel Air fight real aliens.  Let's see how it works out when there's no script.
You mean you can't take down an alien mothership with a virus coded in the Mas OS by plugging your laptop into the conveniently placed USB port on that ship?

Nope.  Not even if that Mac is engraved with my dead Dad's military motto, deep-fried in bacon-fat and wrapped in the Stars and Stripes. Big Grin

But.... but... cars still do explode on impact, right?

People lose track of their families and then life leads them back to find their long lost siblings, only to build their lives together and becomes real brothers, right?!

Sharks are out to get us, I know they are!!

oh oh.... write any piece of software in under 10 minutes and it works when you first try it - no testing, no debugging.... just run!

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I saw something recently (might have been Deep Water Horizon, but not sure this moment) in which a couple of characters avoid incineration or suffocation from one of Hollywood's hoariest old tropes -- the expanding wall of flame coming down a hallway/tunnel/etc. -- by squeezing into a convenient coffin-size nook in the wall of the passageway. My wife was white-knuckling at the moment and rather out of sorts with me for chortling at the action. She demanded to know if I would have had the presence of mind to escape the fireball and seemed a bit deflated when I explained why the characters didn't "really" escape horrible death.

Oxygen. It's a bitch.

BTW: A huge syringe loaded with adrenaline to the heart is the cure for heroin overdose. It's freaky.

But on the other hand, stabbing Uma Thurman in the chest is NEVER a bad idea.
