Sometimes I forget how far removed from reality you people are but you always offer a snippet to remind me.
I'm embarrassed for you that you can write this fantasy script in a public forum and expect to be taken seriously.
I never take you seriously and have never worried about your embarrassment so don't bother yourself with mine, actually don't bother me at all. Seriously you must be quite dense not to see the pun in the post.

Is that the twist you're going to write into the movie? "It was real the whole time!" It could be like a Twilight Zone episode.
You will wish you were in the twilight zone if Christ returns in your life time and you do not know Him as your savior.
GC
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Nah. Now you're pushing the 4th wall a little too far. You started out strong, but it's falling apart now. You'll never get funding for a film like that.

The thing is though, you really do believe a swarm of angels will arrive one day don't you.

In this scenario maybe less of a hand signal and more of a probe?
Vorlon should do well.

I see it like more of a Jim Carey character. Dumb and Dumber, The end of Daze?

This actually applies to all non-believers. When Christ returns do you think scientist will try to figure out how Christ is raising so many people from the dead? Do you think the worlds militaries will try and shoot down all the angels that will be present? No to both when Christ speaks there will be no doubts in anyone's heart or mind.

It'll be HUGE. It'll be the best second coming! I can't tell you anything about it, but, believe me, you'll love it!

I hope you will know Christ if you are still alive when this happens. If not you will be living the greatest horror the mind cannot fathom.

So now Jesus is Cthulhu. That would explain a lot, actually....
I see GC, thanks to his study of the scriptures and personal connection with God, is following the advice of Jesus to threaten nonbelievers with literally horrific scenarios until they believe, just like he did when he was dining with the sinners. And there's that verse about how we'll know his followers by their scary stories....
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Lol, rips on other people's thinking skills, says an E.T. anti-Christ is plausible.
We should probably keep a link to this post handy for the next time when Christians complain that we don't take them seriously.
I find irony in the duality often found here. Open minds, no preconceived notions, foregone conclusions, no absolutes... I merely haven't ruled certain things out. Plausible. Possible. I didn't imply I had my eyes to the sky looking for Christ flying in on the Millennium Falcon.
For self proclaimed critical thinkers employing the Socratic model to examine the empirical evidence with minimal assumptions and complete objectivity, there sure seems to be a lot of name calling, denial, and bias for other views.

The likely problem was in the word plausible, which does not mean the same as possible. Plausible means you think it is likely to happen and you give it more credit than other possibilities. It has a lot more weight to it than just saying "I haven't ruled it out". I think I know what you mean now, but it did seem a bit unreasonable before you cleared it up in this post.

This thread had such promise to remain aloof and lighthearted. I understand some of the chasm that exists between the believers and the non.
I personally do not share many of my fellow believers exuberance for the Lord's return. It may well be a glorious day for some, but it will be the darkest for the overwhelming majority. Narrow is the gate, broad is the way...reference.
Forgive people like GC and others, in their mind they see people walking towards a cliff and are merely trying to get their attention. Their intentions are honorable. Perhaps that should count for something.

Correct sir and well stated. I appreciate the help. In retrospect I would have used possible in lieu of plausible. I do not possess the mastery of the English language many here so obviously do.

If you had mastery over the English language, you wouldn't call me sir. I'll give you a pass on it, though.
