Love is not just an emotion , rather it represents a fabric we have to one another through real connections we make to one another, and each connection has a specialized instance of love, which shows love is something with a hidden divine language emanating from an objective reality. But we don't perceive each other as we are. We scent each other and do our best to know one another with good benefit of the doubt (hopefully most of us are like that).
We are part of something wonderful. I don't know why you guys can't see it. (March 18, 2017 at 6:16 pm)MysticKnight Wrote: We are part of something wonderful. I don't know why you guys can't see it. You assume too much. Oh man, you act like you are unique feeling stuff. Still doesn't support the idea of gods. I don't need gods to feel amazement at the universe. And certainly no need for god to give love. RE: inheriting actions argument!

You need God because every action has to have a purpose, but there is over-arching purpose of all your actions, and purpose is not something you just arrive at, it's something you constantly seek and move towards. God is the goal of the journey! And your tears are his tears and your laugh is his laugh, but you realize it not how close he is to you! As a kid you might been motivated to seek the praise of your parents, but at a point, you need to move on, and then move on, then move on...so to God is the journey and the goal! Not just Muslims, but even Christians and Jews and Hindus and Buddhists when you tell them you don't have a religion and don't believe in a god? Are there wonderful things in life? Yes! What makes anyone of any religion think atheists are always sad and negative? I most certainly do think it is amazing that life even started on this planet and that our species even evolved. The only difference is that an atheist does not assign the good or the bad to magic. I had a wonderful relationship with my mom, but that doesn't change that she died. Her death does not erase all the good she did while alive or our love for each other. I have best friend John from Oklahoma whom I love dearly. I have a pet cat who is my best friend. I love pretty calm night time skies. I love looking at nature like the ocean. But I also know there are things in nature I don't want affecting me but will, like the death of my mother. I also don't want a hurricane affecting my life or a tornado. I know that meteors have hit our planet in it's past that have caused mass extinctions. Black holes are very destructive to the celestial bodies and even suck in light itself. I also know my cat I have now will eventually die. There are wonderful things in life as well as other things we don't want affecting us as humans. That does not mean we cant love and enjoy life when we can while we are alive. Atheists are no different than theists in the ability to see beauty and feel love. The only difference is that we don't assign either the wonderful things or bad things to magic. We see that both the good and bad that happen are better explained naturally through science. But that does not make us emotionless robots. RE: inheriting actions argument!

I never said you guys don't believe you are part of something wonderful. I was specifically referring to the divine language of love and what we are all connected to. I was referring specifically to that and that is obvious by the word "it".

It's the mother of all rights. It's the source of all rights. I am talking of fabrics of love. Love is greatest thing we have but when we equate the love we should have towards to God to others or ourselves, by definition, this is idolatry. To value anything whether oneself or others on par with God, is idolatry. You talk about believing how life is wonderful and on all that, so what? You can enjoy life. But you can't breath the mystic air of the divine breath of God, so what is good is that? Life is but a moment, it passes away so quickly..... it's hard to see the evil forces and how they blind us the spiritual world and the fabrics of love we are connected to through the mystic link known as the Guide of our time and leader of humanity. What good is it to love humans but ignore the best of them or even shown hostility to his chosen ones?
deepities + bald assertions + word salad = MysticKnight
(March 18, 2017 at 6:59 pm)Jesster Wrote: deepities + bald assertions + word salad = MysticKnight It's really getting old. Sure you guys have more numbers on this forum, but, in reality, most of the world agrees with what I'm saying. It's only a few places where people would reject these things, and this is one of these places. Atheist forum is becoming a false security blanket. People believe in these ideas. But that doesn't mean anything either way. Whether you guys are minority or majority, God is proven. But if you want to gain security through reinforcement, I guarantee you most of humanity believes in the spiritual side of themselves and believe in a Creator and the mystic descent of love, etc. |
