Poverty and Theism

RE: Poverty and Theism
There is a whole theme about this in Quran. It's in fact one of the most emphasized themes and subjects.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. It's as if most of humanity offering proofs of God in all religions and cultural framework were so stupid, even Plato and Aristotle are stupid, and because they lived in the past and we have the technology, we are going to scorn all they have to offer and just rely on circular reasoning with respect to scientific explanations to the world in hope one day they will be to explain everything because they have explained a lot of things we know now.

Socrates proved the need of navigators to steer the just society on the course and that the parts will never work cohesively and justice will not be established without a navigator as well as a society that accepts the navigator.

Plato and the Philosopher King concept is beyond just sound argument, it's something so clear, that no one is excused to reject the need for such leaders when reminded of them.

It's as if no human in the past could arrive at the truth, that no humans knew the truth, but now because we can make nuclear bombs to bomb people etc, we know everything right?

I think it's also a factor that people in power deliberately feed religion to the oppressed as a form of control.
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

Isn't poverty ORDAINED by Christian scripture ??

Camels, the rich, and eyes of needles spring to mind. looks like that other thread here, the Characteristics of NT Christians one otta be replete with admonitions of poverty.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Yes actually, the bible says you must be poor in spirit to be 'blessed'. I hate quoting the bible but here:
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Yeah, the Bible was pretty much designed to appeal to those who felt broken, poor and dispirited. It was the perfect way to convince people that their suffering was good. It made them Christ-like. It made them holy and beloved by God. Now, you can shit right down their throats and call it love. They won't argue. They'll keep giving their meager pennies to the church in order to have a better afterlife. It's the long con perfected.

That said, I'm still not sure that applies to the modern world. Again, I grew up impoverished and was not religious. I don't have a lot of poor religious friends. Most of the religious folk I know are middle class.

Part of a Du'a taught by Imam Reda which is proven in Quran though you don't see because you hate the reality and truth:

O Allah! They are my place of flight and my help during my hardship, my ease, my well-being, my tribulation, my sleep, my wakefulness, my departure, my residence, my difficulty, my facility, my openness, my secret, my morning, my evening, my movement, my habitation, my secret, and my apparent! O Allah! Through them, disappoint me not of Your favor; cut not my hope from Your mercy; disappoint me not of Your repose; tempt me not with the closure of the doors to provisions and of the ways to them; open for me an easy opening from You; appoint for me a way out from every hardship and a road for every plenty!

Being a missionary, you will take any chance to preach your faith.
The mistake I did, is giving you a reason to open the sewer.
Never would I do it again..Lesson learned.

Apparently Camels may be a mistranslation and it should be rope through the eye of a needle, which makes much more sense.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

I always figure camels went easier thru the eye because they didn't have filters.
