I tried praying away some unsightly calcium deposits on my bath fixtures, but God said no. The guy at the hardware store solde see stuff he swore would work. It didn't. Do I need to get a priest or a pastor to smite him, or can I smite him myself?

Circumstances change the application of objective morality.
