Then the Dems now are humanizing Bush the same guy who got us into the war. it doesn't help his case

He didn't even need a drone. The Taliban were so afraid of a possible invasion of Afghanistan that they were willing to nab bin Laden, with the only face saving measure being that they hand him over to Turkey, who would then pack him off to the States.

That's probably true, a bounty on his head big enough could have done that too. But putting him a prison would have really made him a bigger martyr if he stood trial, I think what Obama did then dumping him in the ocean took that away. He is still seen as a hero to many, but Alquida isn't as big as it was, ISIS is taking that spotlight now.
We cant stay completely out of global conflict. But after what the GOP has done over the rule under Bush and Sr and even Russia with Reagan and Afghanistan and support of Iraq against Iran, I think that party has proven they have no clue what to do.

The time to get worked up is when it's believed they have perfected and attempt delivery.
We are hanging on by a thread having Trump and the GOP in charge, but Trump's demagoguery and impetuous behavior is exactly what despots talk like. I only hope there are enough in the military as advisers and enough in congress and intel that can keep that asshole on a leash. Bush only set us back financially as far as national dept, but this time, it wont be just another bubble, Trump can potentially allow his ego to start WW3.
If I were in control of nukes and he gave the order, I would NOT do it, because of the domino effect. The entire planet would be affected. I don't think that moron has any concept of mutual destruction. I think Trump is simply trying to prove to the memory of his dad that he can be as much of an asshole bully as his dad was to him.
