How many times have we heard from far right bigots "If you don't like America leave", now here you are telling a fellow liberal "If you don't like your state leave". 

I will defend my friend and no, he doesn't have to move, he has as much right to stay where he is at as atheists have the right to live in America.

Now you talk of percentages. You do understand 30 years ago the polls asking if Americans would consider atheists for public office were nothing, and while we may not be at the top of the list, the polling is far better now.

Brian, I don't care about your personal friend.  For the umpteenth time I am not going to exempt by name every person you think should not be included in a generalization.  When 75% of a county votes for the WLB and you don't like it then you are living in the wrong county.  All those assholes are not going to change.  In 20 years they will still be assholes.  And hopefully the WLB will be dead or in prison.

Living in Hawai'i, I believe in Hawaiian sovereignty. Their ohana system of aloha makes them so different from mainlanders. They look at us like were nuts. These islands make us small town folk with Hawaiian pride. I'm proud to be a part of it but it ain't easy getting in and being a part of the large ohanas. Respect comes first!

I think Maui should seek sovereignty alone because O'ahu has it's head up it's ass! Maui was once the federal head of the Kingdom of Hawaii. And all the Islands were once kingdoms this is, until king Kamehameha 1(a chief of the Big Island and united the Big Island under his rule--bloodshed) borrowed a couple cannons from the HAole(without breath, no HA, no aloHA: said because they did not embrace) and blasted his fathers kingdom of Maui. Killing them at I'ao valley which is why the Wailuku river means "river of blood" that runs to a place called Kahului--"The Winning".

K1 then went back to the Big Island, then retook Maui and went on to O'ahu, and after a few attempts, caused Kauai'i to annex. When K1 died, queen Ka'ahumanu(K1's favorite queen), married the king of Ni'ihau and brought that island into the kingdom.
