But what if some or all of what's in the book is wrong, (in error, untrue, misguided etc.), and whatever is outside of it has some truths, which contradict the beliefs and conclusions of the book? How will one know, if one won't even consider the possibility ? ? ?

If there's a wrong verse, I'll disbelieve. Believing a lie is something bad.

IIRC, there are copies of the Quran older than the Prophet Mohammed's time, so we don't even have that, perhaps.

There is no more evidence for any fucking prophet than there is for jesus, moses or quetzlcoatl.  Just mythology which can be set at any time.

No. This is not bullshit.

Life is a road that starts with birth, ends with death.
Bullshit is choosing the wrong path and keep on fighting for it; creating a chaos in the way.

When bullshit collide with bullshit, everybody dies.

Religion is not needed for man. But Islam and the Quran are needed for man. They prevent bullshit storms from hitting the carrier of the faith.
Bullshit is lying; using cheap missionary tricks to convert masses, use charity money to win the hearts of the poor, manipulate emotions to override proof.

It can be seen in religious speeches by the Pope, or by Ayatollah, or by Mufti Al Azhar. Also it can be seen in movies.
That's bullshit.
