You guys are funny,but I agree with you both.The sooner the world realizes that the bible is nothing but ancient mythology the better the world will become.In my view the biblical God is nothing more than a megamaniacal tyrant.He makes Hitler look like Barney in Comparison.

Christians need to learn to think out of the box.They are literally brain washed by their own societies and culture.If you sat down to read the bible without any preconcieved notions of divine authorship you would simply read it and call it what it is,ancient mythology.

If you try to read it as a novel it just dosen't work. Well not until the new testament anyway which has a certain bonkers charm. to further break it down. I've read the bible cover to cover 3 times in English and once in Spanish.If you think it's boring you should try making your way through the geneologies.........the shem begat ham and ham begat cheese and cheese begat burger and burger begat soda pop lol now that it truly boring.And not to mention how god supposedly keeps repeating I am the Lord thy god.I made it through those chapters with tears in my eyes from extreme boredom and eye exhaustion.
