Come in here to talk about your progress and encourage others. I've been mulling over having a prize, but it seems like less of a contest and more of a joint effort to think/act healthily. Maybe I can con the staff into giving people who've met their goals a special name color or sig? I don't know.
Anyway, best of luck. I'm going to the movies tonight. Let's see if I can resist popcorn.
I like that idea. Some kind of medallion thingy around our username sounds cool. Maybe a golden "L" for loser?
Just to make it official, my ongoing goal is to continue eating healthy and gradually get down to 175 pounds, perhaps lower if that still feels like too much. So ten pounds to go but I plan to get there by way of a sustainable approach to eating, not a temporary regimen.

I need to lay down the tacos and beer.
I started food prepping again. Best thing ever. It's saving me time, money, and unhealthy delivery food.
I guess this means I'm in! Aaaaaaah!
My goal: fit into my work clothes without having to jump up and down while pulling my pants up. That'll do.

Tacos one day and forced family takeout the next day sums up my weekend. I fell off the wagon big time. Luckily, I have mouth wound from the dentist (thanks, buddy), so it's only soft food for a while. I'll stick to soup.

I have a confession. I ate tacos. Not today, but this weekend.
But I food prepped last night. I should be good. Also... I didn't buy flan when it was staring at me. This is hard.

It's very hard. I ate chips last night . . . after a day of eating really well.
Started today off with some turkey sausage and whole grain waffles.

I've been commuting during rush-hour, it seems.... always people in the way forcing me to down shift
Ignoring those parts, I'm still at a consistent minimum 6th gear for the greater part of the commute. And today I managed to overtake 2 slowpokes slightly before the start of the great climb, all in 6th gear... and it didn't feel like much of a grind.
Some more strengthening and 7th gear may become the norm...
However, there is the extra detail where Mondays always feel easier... maybe it's due to the weekend rest...
Is there any way to assist in strengthening my legs?

Do you mean in just biking or in general?

In general.
More strength in general, should lead to more strength in biking!
