I'm digging turkey burgers lately, but Burger King fries are where it's at.

Mr. Obvious, do you think you could set aside the calories in your planning (if you do it like that) and make yourself stop before you go overboard?

The only reason why Belgium is marginally less obese than the USA is because we have our own set of fast foods in our burgundian lifestyle.
We don't have KFC, BK, Dunkin Donuts, Taco Bell, Wendy's, whitecastle, ...
We have McDo, but it's not better than our local variant 'Quick'. And Subway came but I find that atrocious.
But we already have 'koffiekoeken', fritures, panos, beer in overabundance,  chocolate, speculoos, jenever, ... And now with the addition of BK... I don't know.

First time I ate BK was when I was in Austria for a school trip. We were left to our own devices for 3 days. I ate BK 4 times. I ate it whenever I could in other countries, when I was there, at least once per trip.
The only bad thing I can say about BK is that I've tried to order their curly fries 4 times now and never got them.
And that just makes me want them more and makes sure I'll be back.

Sounds tempting Mr. O. But I stay away from most of their (BK)menu because I have Celiac and they put their fries and stuff in the same fryer as the breaded stuff.
Before diagnosis I used to love those little chicken sandwiches.... ok I guess I'm not helping.

The very small city I live in has Little Caesar's, Domino's and Pizza Hut. But I don't think I trust Domino's and Pizza Hut's gluten free Pizzas as they say in their waiver it's not really for Celiacs. Which is really great. Make money off the health hipsters but tell the people that really will get sick that it's a risk to eat it.

I like to make myself Grilled Chicken Sandwiches with the Great Value (Walmart) Chicken breasts and gluten free bread. They put spices and stuff in it. Grilled on my George Foreman grill it's delicious. Admittedly I do use mayo.

Hope your efforts to lose fat and but on man-muscle are productive, Captain Obvious.

I exceeded my goal of weighing 250 lbs in 4 months by reaching 248 in under 2 months. I lost 13 pounds. I hadn't done skinfold measurements in over 3 years. When I did them today I found I had lost %1. I'm sure the number isn't accurate (in terms of my actual body composition)so I won't post it, but the fact that the number went down tells me something good is happening.

My calories are pretty low but I don't feel hungry most of the time. My fasting blood sugar is high ish in the mornings but great 3 hours after meals. (I have type 2 diabetes)

That's amazing, IL. I hope all of your efforts nix that diabetes. It sounds like you're doing all the right stuff.

As well as my dental health doing better, I'd say my social health is doing better as I am getting out a lot more Blush

Going to poker nights twice a week and also volunteering once a week. And I may end up doing poker 3 nights a week in time, we shall see. Smile

I'd also say I'm doing better than ever. I've been marginally happier in the past but overall I'd say this is better than ever because I'm almost as happy and I'm also healthier.
