Yeah too much fruit is no bueno without a ton of fiber to balance it, especially if it's juice. Fiber is one thing that seems nearly impossible to get enough of without supplements, tho.

I eat fiber-rich bread and try to get enough with veggies too.

Yeah, if you eat the fruit whole, you're better off. If you drink juice, you get all of the sugar all at once.

Indeed.... if you are having fruit, eat it as it was intended to be eaten.
The fibre in most fruits helps keeping things flowing inside and less of the sugars are transferred to your blood stream.
Fruits have a special kind of sugar, fructose which - unlike glucose - only gets processed in your liver and the resulting fat is stored close by.
Being processed by the liver means that you can get cirrhosis, the same problem you get by high intake of alcohol (which is also only processed by the liver).
So, basically, eating fructose without the accompanying fruit fibre should be avoided.
Even freshly squeezed fruit juice should be considered a rare treat.

I always tend to post on here whenever I have a major break in will power. When I've got momentum I'm really motivated with diet and exercise I don't like talking about it or posting about it much.
For a while I gave up eating anything except veg and meat. No oats or bread or anything and also no eating before bed, I was having just 2 meals a day and going crazy at the gym nearly every day and probably lost some weight or body fat.
My break in routine started with taking a girl out to an all you can eat place and contimued later that next week by giving a girl in work a box of chocolates and we shared them in work. I then got ill with a cold and bought a mighty bucket from KFC with pink donuts from a different place.
I'm thinking about getting a 16 inch pizza this weekend.
I don't feel fatter at all but I'll probably take a while to get back into the swing of things when I do get back into the gym.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

It's crazy how one slip up can reset how you think about food.
