Observation of natural phenomena seems like the dominant explicit act stated in Abraham's story.

Maybe that's because you're a heterodox believer who feels compelled to un-islamicize the story?  To make it all sciencey and shit?

Food for thought.

if gods plan changes due to prayer it means his plan was never perfect their for you have a imperfect god. - free will
if god plan changes due to payer then it was apart of his plan because he willed it so. no free will.

And if one is a True Christian® and therefore has the power of healing via a simple laying on of the hands, there is a resultant tremendous decline in the amount of things to pray for.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Dear God, please heal my baby of colitis . . .

oh, wait, I can handle that, nevermind.

Dear God, my mom has lung cancer, please, if you see fit, please heal her . . . oh, that's right, Scripture guarantees I can deal with that on my own if I just believe sincerely, Praise Jesus! No problem !! Amen !!!

given the myriads of Christian schisms, and the absolute paucity of True Christians WITH the Scripture guaranteed healing power, it is apparent the One True Faith is one of the SMALLEST schisms there is/was, otherwise, it would be immediately obvious precisely which schism is the One True Faith because of that tell tale healing gift.

You know, I think I have just demonstrated Catholicism is a false religion, and everything else that comes to mind.  The One True Faith must be MASSIVELY obscure !!

The Bible PROVES it !!!

I saw a meme today, with the question in title. This is a toughie.

I am a person of strong faith, and want others with strong faith to chime in on this. Help!!!

The meme seems intentionally worded to create a contradiction.

The question really is: "Did God's knowledge of your future prayers change his perfect plan?"

If God knew without fail what every person would freely choose from the beginning of time, knowledge of your conversation/thanksgiving/pleadings/requests would have been factored into God's perfect plan.

In addition, the Bible says that your prayers matter to God. A very quick Google search yields plenty of lists: (http://www.biblestudytools.com/topical-v...le-verses/).

So, it would seem that the answer to the modified question is yes.
