One might think 70,000 schisms would be sufficient.

Do you really think in two thousand years that the bible will still be considered a source of truth?

It has taken us two thousand years to reach this point where at least a quarter of the population identifies as atheist.

Would it take another two thousand years for half of the population to identify as atheist, or do you think perhaps atheism will pick up speed the more we advance?

Yeah but the half life of belief was slower then, no wait, was it faster? It's sooo confusing.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

It's 70,000 varieties of truth for the believers keeping track of such things.

And all from a god who claims to not be the author of confusion. I suppose with omniscience even 70.000 schisms would not be too much to keep track of, for the rest of us however . . .

Some scientists that defend the reality of fine-tuning:

Barrow, Carr, Carter, Davies, Dawkins, Deutsch, Ellis, Greene, Guth, Harrison, Hawking, Linde, Page, Penrose, Polkinghorne, Rees, Sandage, Smolin, Susskind, Tegmark, Tipler, Vilenkin, Weinberg, Wheeler, and Wilczek.

I'm pretty sure, without having to look it up, that this list is bullshit.

That is not really a problem, considering the majority of them do not even read it.

There is a difference between read, comprehend and cherry pick.

I feel the same about Shakespere.  But I don't take his words as fact.

Besides, Shakespeare was a vastly better writer.
