"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Put up a post in our local lost pet facebook group. Also filed a found pet report with our local Humane Society and placed an ad in the local paper. I'm going to put up some posters this afternoon.
She was acting like she wanted to get out this morning (the front yard, specifically), I have to wonder if she is trying to find her way back home. I'm not sure what more we can do except wait. At least she's safe with us. RE: Looks like we're rescuing a dog

Found a site pawboost.com that sent a found dog report to 3 shelters, 21 rescues, 34 vets and 144 volunteers in the local area.
I think it's great that you are willing to keep her but yet still looking so hard for the owners. After that horrible story in the news about the family not giving back the dog to the original owner... At least either outcome for this little one will be a good one.

I've lost pets before, it's the least I can do. Quote: (Unless they're super sad they lost their baby and they're good owners) If they were good owners she would have a microchip and a license tag.
