With so many homeless stray cats around here, I don't have the heart to just leave them or even to drop them off at a shelter. Animals are my kryptonite.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

If you don't find the owners -- and doesn't seem like that's in the cards -- may y'all enjoy each other for many happy years.
Beautiful dog, and a good deed on your part. (May 18, 2017 at 12:23 pm)mlmooney89 Wrote: Yeah that dog must have a family, it seems like an inside dog and very used to being such. My second one was kept outside for 3 years. When she walked into the house the first time she jumped on a bed and went belly-up for a rub. I think its a genetic thing with dogs. Eh I've known dogs to hide under furniture and refuse to eat because they were unfamiliar with being pampered.

No God, No fear.

It appears we may have found the owner via the Humane Society.

I gave it a flea bath, and fed it. The ex wouldn't let me keep it in the house (should have been my first sign), so I kept him on the porch while I waited for animal control to get him. It was very sad.
...and she's been reunited with family. They have an autistic son who really misses her. We're going to miss her but I'm glad she got home.
