As for my statement about homosexuality. It is not productive evolutionary nor is a union of homosexual pairs a norm, especially in primates. You do not see any animal on earth using hierarchy to legitimize mating or sexual pairs yet so many atheist think a National Daddy needs to give them permission. Scholarships to where? Where did you graduate from? When and with what degrees? You made the claim. 

Why do you care if it is not evolutionary productive? I thought people who apparently think like you would be happy it is not. 

National Daddy (assume you mean state/federal/national government) does not need to give permission. However, because of people that apparently think like you, Daddy needs to provide certain protections and enforcement of equal rights under the law.

If every member of a species were "straight" and all of them continuously reproduced, that would not be evolutionary productive. They would reproduce themselves into extinction.
So if some of the straight members of a species don't reproduce, what difference would it make then if they were gay instead? Same results as far as I can see.

Give it time, OP, and you'll find that not all of us atheists think or do alike. I don't even think of atheism as being a group or a particular identity. For me, it's just a lack of belief in god, that's all. There's no atheist leader or overlord telling us how to think or behave. Thank goodness for that.

I'm guessing you haven't encountered many atheists in real life, only on the web. Believe it or not, we're actually complex human beings like you. Beware of painting people with broad brush generalizations.
