Here's what I want to know: Atheists are often thought to be nihilistic because we believe this is the only life we get. And yet according to this heaven-philiac mindset, wouldn't this life be incredibly meaningless? I mean, that's just one of the incredibly stupid and hypocritical reversals but I've never gotten an actual response to it and I'd love to hear one.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

Even the angels get sick and tired of heaven and being cooped up with Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews and the God of the armies.

Yeah, you'd think if it was so great, and being in god's presence all the time, and knowing full well he exists indisputably, would never possibly lead to any of these questionable things we hear about it.
