Please don't misconstrue my reaction - it's more of a sardonic raise of the eyebrows and a disappointed shake of my head.

But I certainly understand why people would find this, well, humorous.  An affirmation of the source of one's life leading directly to one's downfall.  In some ways, similar to, ahem, "I can't wait to shoot criminals" type people blowing their own heads off.  If the source of humor is the subversion of an expectation, then both certainly qualify...
To put it in other words: Guy got a tattoo that says "Jesus is my Life." If he had never heard of Jesus, he'd still be alive.
