Another new little idea for a piece, now a bit more worked out

The idea is to have a series of short little pieces, like chapters in a story framed by a recurring theme. I posted a preliminary version before, this is the latest. Obviously, it should be expanded some more. I like the three part harmony of the beginning/end and would like to write more of that sort of thing.

Alex, you just get better and better.
I think a few of your pieces have the potential to be nice canons which might give you a bit more playing time.
I like your little trills here and there. Have you thought of using mordents?
To my ear it would sound nice in your pieces.
Personally, I've never been a fan of the lower notes but you seem to use them to good effect.
You inspire me to get back into it.
I haven't had a tinkle for months. :-)

Can you elaborate about the canon idea?
In the above the chords before the repetition and in the end are obviously wrong / missing, will correct later.

Here's a more complete, but still unevenly played version. It has a repeat and the second time an ending in major, and maybe even some mordants 
I consider composing another one like this but with an inverted first subject which will form the first part of the entire piece, followed by the stuff below.

The latest version with a new rising middle segment which gives the snipped an ABA structure

Sure, composing at the keyboard and recording it directly to wave files on a Kawai MP7 stage piano, as you can tell from the slightly uneven playing.
