Life is short, I prefer to live it rather than developing a decision tree to make my participation unnecessary. (FYI, I was a philosophy major so my stance is not uninformed.) However, that doesn't mean that I can't respect someone who disagrees with me about this. I mean, some people cheerfully devote huge tracts of time to completing crossword puzzles. I myself whittle away precious hours playing lots of card games with the wifey. I just don't think I'm doing anything important for mankind while so doing.
