RE: Islam is not a Religion, but a.....
Considering the Torah and both the ancient and modern state of Israel can we say that Judaism is also a political doctrine? Mormonism with its attempt to start its own territory and then state? Japanese Zen Buddhism circa WW2? Catholicism with its own seat in the U.N ? I can keep going ......

Even the Baneemyites went off on their own and tried to make Bannemyism work.

Sigh, God's One True Faith founders . . . . . .

Of course it probably won't happen.

But that does not mean that this form of Christianity is any less Fascist.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

For example Bosnia, Albania, Kosovo, Turkey then Ex soviet coutries like Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and etc...

Thanks all for the replies. As a newbee on this forum, I now clearly understand a lot of Americans are on this forum. I also believe US Atheists are probably more focused on Christianity because there are indeed a lot of extreme-Christian-communities in the US with terrible (facist) ideas and lifestyle. But in (West-)Europe, Islam is the issue.

A lot is said on this topic about Christianity. I also made some quite stupid remarks about US money (In God we trust) and US church as an organisation. But my thread was about Islam and secularity....I have read a bit about (extreme) Christianity in the US. But still, I believe sincerely Islam is something else, even worse than the extreme Christians in the US.
We also have (small) extreme Christian communities / villages which I completely despise. But Islam is worse. Way worse. And the millions of immigrants we received in the last 2 years, definitely did not came from the few Islamic countries with a form of secularity in their constitution. They all came from N-Africa. But we now also get thousands and thousands of economic Muslim refugees every day. Ertirea, Somalia, Nigeria, Marocco, Libya etc etc.....

And the current political powers / governments in Europe (especially Germany with Merkel) are keeping the borders wide and wide open. Cultural suicide. Perhaps because of the war, Germans are afraid to show their cultural identity of any form of self-awareness, history and Western Culture.

Are you sure you have a handle on what fascism is? And why can't you spell 'Fascist'?
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.
