Poor little butt hurt Mario. So abused, so misunderstood. Filled with self righteous indignation. The perfect picture of a victim. We should all feel pity for him, and remorse. Deep remorse that he was treated so badly.

Where was his god to protect him from the heathens?

Same here. Even the erstwhile EvilBible forum, which was notoriously difficult to remain a member, I survived right through to the end.

The only 'forum', such as it is, which kicked me out was the old Sickipedia, from where I got banned for "spamming" after posting exactly two jokes and nothing else.

RE: My experiences with internet forums
I'll admit my prior experiences on several sciency and technical message boards has really colored my experience here. I'm somewhat oblivious to certain things here viewed as 'bigger' issues, and then some items I have seen hyper-emphasized elsewhere are of small concern here.

AFAIK, this board, for it's size, has a pretty large mod/admin staff too. The MyBB software here is the best user interface I have yet encountered. The now defunct 'Pluck' being the worst, and by an almost incredible degree, too.

Another board I would like to be on (motor head kinda place) has software that doesn't seem to be compatible with my laptop (or the prior one I had) although I can lurk there all I want.

RE: My experiences with internet forums
This post is addressed to Stimbo now Cyberman.

Dear Stimbo I really recall that you tried very hard to continue to prevent me from posting owing to your own reason but never telling me, and you succeeded.

I am looking for the record of our exchange outside of threads and posts, but in a section where a moderator and a plain poster could talk between themselves.

Can you please show me the record?

Dear readers, see below the text in bold.

Back to Stimbo, is there a board here where plain posters can complain against moderators and administrators and prophets in residence?

And I recall that there was some sort of an editor who could delete texts in posts - I could mistaken.

But if there are such staffers here, perhaps it is better that when these staffers notice a post that they think texts should be deleted, they should just reply to that post without letting the post come out, but with instruction to rewrite the post and make it properly civil, etc., as to be fit for publishing.

And, dear readers here, it is really hard to talk intelligently with you atheists here, because you are always into hatred, anger, and foul language in place of effective communication.

And in regard to communication your writing is always into evasiveness from the issue at hand.

(June 16, 2017 at 2:07 pm)Mariosep Wrote: Well, thanks a lot for your replies, dear colleagues here.

Today I will talk about posters in forums I have been to.

It is my experience that most posters a very big number of, they are into saying nothing from their very own personal thinking and writing.

I just last week decided to no longer continue in a forum which I had some trouble getting registered in, it is also endowed with the word debate in the title of its website,

By the way, you see, dear atheist colleagues here, I am not talking with atheists in order to save them, but in order to learn from them, but to the present they have not produced any ideas that I find to be intelligent and personally thought up, at all.

Now, back to this forum where I have not been banned but I decided to boycott it; so instead of my being banned as in several forums, with this forum my act is equivalent to banning it from my part.

You see, the first post I wrote in this forum has to do with existence, yes, existence as in the thread I introduced here in this atheist forum when I happened to drop in and found out surprise of surprises, I have not been banned forever notwithstanding the machination of Stimbo.

You see, when I right away submitted a thread in this new for me forum, I was irritated because I did not expect the return message to be like, namely: “Your post will have to be approved prior to release” - something like that.

Anyway, I continued there and read a thread there of mathematicians talking about Maths, so even though I am not a mathematician I submitted a post there, to ask mathematicians whether they know about the conceptival realm and the objectival realm in the world of existence (what other worlds are there, dear atheist colleagues, think carefully now, at least once in your atheist identity life), this time happy surprise of surprises, it came out right away without any pre-notice of pre-approval.

So the following day I looked up the reactions to my post, and I was happy to see two mathematicians who did something different from what all others were doing, since for already three pages, what were they writing about?

Nothing but encomiums on the excellence of math and on and on and on every poster, ne'er saying anything new or different.

That is the kind of posters with you atheist colleagues here, you all say the same things in a thread, because you have no thinking at all, but you just regurgitate slogans and clichés you read from your mentors of evasiveness.

Okay, the two posters who reacted to my post about the conceptival realm and the objectival realm from me, they made a good impression on me, so I took courage to pursue my idea with them, by asking them, as they amazingly turn out to agree with me that when man is no longer around so no more concepts in man's mind, would math still be existing, I ask them 'where' will math be existing, and I sent the post, my second one in that thread on Maths.

You know what, the moderator who was into approving my very first post and first thread there, he got wise to my presence in this thread, and issued right away, the notice that: “This post will be visible upon approval,” something like that.

So I left the forum completely, though two days later when I opened my email box I got the notice in the subject bar, that my posts have been approved for release.

Well, thanks, but no thanks, I am not going back, I have had enough of such forums.

I suggest that such forums should already at the top of their list of dos and donts for candidates to registration, at the top in big fonts this notice: ALL POSTING IN THIS FORUM IS SUBJECT TO PRIOR APPROVAL BEFORE RELEASE.

I said at the start that I was going to talk today about dismal routine of posters, and I end up with saying also something against forum moderating policy, namely, prior approval before release.

Please contribute your experiences with internet forums, just for us all to get them off our breast.

RE: My experiences with internet forums
Hello Mariosep, I have read your complaint and considered it. Here is my response: it is not the position or responsibility of Forum Staff to be your mentor, teacher, father confessor or parent. We are not put on this Earth to make you or others more eloquent, better posters or (dare I say) better people.

Furthermore, while you do not have to like anyone here, it should behoove you to avoid carrying feuds onwards. I recommend you avoid that. The Staff takes great pains to avoid even the appearance of rash judgment - we rely on procedure and consensus to be as fair as possible. I would prefer you restrain your personal dislike of Cyberman, an excellent administrator I might add, from implying a theoretical abuse of power.

Me and my machinations, eh? Aren't I dastardly?

My name isn't red by coincidence - that's blood.

Incidentally, I have just scoured all the relevant reports and PMs in our database, looking for any and all instances where Mariosep and I interacted on a Staff/user basis. Guess what I didn't find - not even once? Basically, if he has a bee in his baby bonnet about anyone on the Operations level, it's not me. Perhaps he had a dream about me; he's only human.

I'd say this forum has been way more than fair with you. Most places would have you banned months ago for spamming and trolling (and rightly so in my opinion). But you're still a member here, allowed to post your copy/pasta bullshit over any thread you want.

If I were the king of the inter webs, he'd have been kicked out eons ago.

Perhaps they have been abducted by aliens or redacted by the CIA?

Hey Mario, no body is interested in your propaganda campaign for Christ.  Your presence here is an annoyance which we tolerate out of regard for free speech.  You'd receive much better treatment if you weren't such an obvious tool.
