I honestly think when you suppress someone in some fields such as sexual exploration there is a likelihood that person is going to be more fucked up.
I am honestly just glad I am agnostic turning atheist and not some religious person anymore. Well, I mostly just like to sleep in on Sundays. lol
However, it sort of sucks because right now I am home from school for the Summer. I have my computer in my bedroom [I know it's a fucking miracle I can do that] but if I close my door during the day my parents will all of the sudden be "concerned" that I'm doing something "bad". lol Maybe I just want some privacy? I am 23 after all, so I'm pretty sure I can look out for myself.
It will be nice when I graduate in a year and officially move out. [I sort of have already, but not fully]

It's all about who these people's neighbors were, when they were writing this down. On one border you have the babylonians, why practiced festivals where they had orgies of sex. Then on another border you have the greeks, who were pro homosexuality. So they were really against those things.

I think perhaps the intent of restriction of masturbation is to maximize marriages and birthrates by making it as miserable as possible to be unmarried. They want as many Christians/Mormons/Muslims as possible.
Either that or god has no idea that not climaxing for an extended period of time gets uncomfortable. He must have lost the specs for human biological functioning somewhere.
