Technically, he was harrassing them...and not all contact is assault -she was clearly flirting and he was vocally and visibly receptive.   Street corner cameras in your face on a night out belligerance -is- harassment.  Even a reporter or a protestor, actually covered by some rights in similar situations (in this country), still has to follow some rules.

None of this "defends the chicks" - who, if all I had to go on was this video are pretty dense and fairly drunk. It simply undercuts the obvious "boohoo men are being repressed for hurting womens fee-fees" narrative...which they aren't. The cop actually asks her if she was offended and she says "yes" but he doesn't get charged with the crime of "offending a random club goer in possession of a vagina"...which probably should have been your first clue that the op's assessment was both silly, and completely expected from his usual suspecty self. He was momentarily detained for being a nuisance on what was most likely private property.

Who wants that asshole outside their establishment, costing them business? Who has to put up with it? No one, to both.

In this country, and probably where ever that was too (haven't checked), had some feminazi been sitting outside castigating patrons, they too would be removed from the premises.
