How do you deal with anger?

RE: How do you deal with anger?
I just silently yell into the void.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

sometimes I think about Jesus when I masturbate

oh wait, that's not when I'm angry, it's when I get horny watching 700 Club . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

RE: How do you deal with anger?
I had a terrible anger problem when I was younger. I used to get in fights all the time. Being smaller than most of the guys when I was growing up didn't help. I didn't finish growing until I was 20. I used to brawl in bars when I was in the Navy, and ended up in the brig for it. That pretty much cured me. I don't go into bars anymore (didn't drink all that much, but some of the other guys get stupid on one beer), and when I see someone acting like a dick, I call the popo, now. I could go and do something, but I'm too old for that shit now, unless I am directly attacked (which hasn't happened in a long time).

I'm Maltese, I'm part wolf! Big Grin  (BTW, this is my precious little Daisy dog. She's a real sweetie). She's 16, and her cataracts are pretty obvious. Sad

She's adorable, isn't that really old for a Maltese though? She's lived well Smile

No, I'm from the US of A. That statement is from my observation of a picture on the cover of National Geographic from a few years back, which had a picture of a wolf and a Maltese dog together on the cover. Our family always found it amusing that the one dog (Rosie) was so intent on chasing squirrels and every other animal, while the one I posted the picture of (Daisy) is so non-aggressive that lizards and birds run around her while she suns herself on the back patio. We lost Rosie a little over a year ago, to cancer. Sad  Daisy has a few health issues, but we just had her visit the vet two days ago, and she's still good for awhile. They were litter mates. The vet was surprised that she had gotten this old, as well! It's going to be a sad day when she dies. Follows me everywhere around the house, and is always ready to jump up for me to hold and pet her.

RE: How do you deal with anger?
How i deal with anger differs from situation to situation. My head can get so clouded with anger that i become a bit delusion and make the situation out to be more than what it really is. I can be a bit vengeful at times too and hold a grudge. It seems like the older i get, the more easier it becomes for me to let things go. I try hard not to take my anger out on others. That's the main thing for me. If possible i may remove myself from the situation and take a few deep breaths. Or just observe it without attachment and let it pass me.
