Fav toys/games from your childhood

RE: Fav toys/games from your childhood
Hmm u guys had lotsa toys. I wasn't interested. I liked porcelin dolls, I'd save up doing chores for them. Then I'd break them or my friend would. A few survived. Coins too, my dad gave me those. Silver dollars, buffalo nickels, Mexico, Canada, China, Australian coins..

Toys to me were things like the trampoline that we spent years perfecting flip land feet on, or the bungie swing that we pulled up a mountainside by a rope to the top, to ride it back down.

Rocks, lots of rocks. From the mountain stream in the back. Looking back I wish I'd kept some, I had some metorites worth a pretty penny!

Bikes, lots of biking and bike mishaps. Used to know some tricks. It's amazing what one fall can do to your entire composure and ability!

Hmm.. we made up a game. We think. It's hide and seek in the dark, it was my favorite.

Fuck monopoly! I swear my parents separated over an argument stemming from mono poly once!

Crazy 8s and Cribbage, slap Jack and Jenga.

Lastly, our favorite.. Super Mario brothers and Mariokart! Jarassic Park the video game hard as shit, but first "first person" shooter I'd played. Duke nukem, Myst, Riven, Zork. Commander Keen..

My favorite friend was my dogs. They aren't toys, but boy were they fun to play with!
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

I have 4 younger brothers so I played with a lot of matchbox cars lol

We used to roam the neighborhood in our small upstate New York town, play hide and seek and ride bikes.

I had a Holly Hobby doll that I loved. I think I still have a pic somewhere in a photo album of me holding the doll.

LOL, how did I forget this?

I'd take a shovel and a hoe, and lay out streets and highways in the exposed dirt east of the house. Then a couple bricks with shingle over them made houses, and then 2 stacks of bricks with a board across for overpasses. I built towns and roads and hiways and cities !!
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

When I was nine or so living in Tehran, I took a hoe to the backyard, and built trenches and earthworks for my toy soldiers and model tanks. I had what must have been a miniature Verdun, complete with mountain built out of sun-baked mud.

Artillery called in was supplied by my wrist-rocket.

Outdoors or indoors? We did something similar. We called it "Manhunt," i believe. We dressed in all black, sneak into the school property at night, and played a game of tag outdoors when it was dark. It was perfect because it was dark and secluded at night. I remember DZ Discovery Zone too.

Final Fantasy, Super Mario 3, Double Dragon series, Dragon Warrior Series, Faxanadu, Street Fighter II Turbo. When I got to be in my early teens I had a basketball jones for a year or two.
I liked Legos as a kid.
