Where is the 80k in spending that went to those now-bust farmers? Where is the 56k in added economic activity pursuant to the same? Yeah, I like that we're having talking with North Korea and all, but you're not supposed to LIKE Kim Jong Un. He's a horrible human being. Everyone's on Tulsi for talking with Assad, but I doubt she talks with him because she likes him as a person. She talks with him because he's a world leader, and that's how diplomacy forks. Trump talks to Kim because he likes the guy.

Technically, everyone's on Tulsi for being on the kremlin express, at present, and having been a horrible person for pretty much the entirety of her own life, as well. She talks to assad for the same reason that she gets into most of the things that smitten democrats misread. She sees allies in the forever war against terrorists.
Her ideological rebirth is hard to see as anything other than a calculated political move, particular in light of the fact that she makes no bones about being a full on right wing nut on the inside..she just doesn't feel comfortable forcing her beliefs on others, anymore - like the muslims do.
