Of course, Dallas is almost as blue as California these days.

I love the irony of a couple of (parts of) red state political entities denying the chump a rally. It's thick and so, so rich.
To be honest Texas probably isn't red, just gerrymandered up the wazoo.

You have 100 000 (and counting) mostly preventable deaths. Your economy is on life support. You have rioting in major cities all across the country. You have journalists being arrested for being journalists. You’re fostering second-class citizenship for minorities.
And in the midst of all of this, you have a president who is obsessed with social media platforms and vote-by-mail, who fosters conspiracy theories on an almost daily basis, who doesn’t understand your most fundamental laws, who promotes and encourages racist ideologies, and who threatens extra-judicial killings.
So, tell me America - are you ‘great again’?

It's exhausting, maddening, saddening, frightening, and emotions I can't even name yet.
I noticed this morning the virus count tab on the news app on my phone is now gone. I guess it's not even worth keeping track any more.
Yesterday my husband was informed his hours have been cut until at least the first of September. My chances of finding work are slim. My health isn't such that I can be around the public and my age will stop employers from being interested even if they have a need for someone with my skill set. Jobs are scarce for everyone who is looking.
I have spent a lifetime thinking things will get better and be less of a struggle some day...yeah, that's not happening. But I never could have imagined this shit show.

Things arent any worse for a person who never had a single prospect. OTOH, someones triggering the libs.
From a conservative nutballs perspective, things are alot better than they've ever been. This, right now, today..is an improvement.
