I agree with The Grand Nudger. When the dems continually don't accept that the repubs are playing the game they're playing, how the hell can you expect to effectively counter their shit?
The analogy of a pigeon shitting on a chessboard "playing" against a chess master springs to mind. If someone is continually playing chess, when the opponent has clearly demonstrated that they won't play the game by the rulebook, why the fuck do you keep trying to checkmate them in that game? Just fucking pick up the chessboard and chess pieces and play another game more suited for pigeons, like breadcrumbs or whatever.
The inquisition of ACB is probably seen as some noble pursuit and upholding the tradition and integrity of the SCOTUS, or whatever by the dems. It fucking isn't viewed that way by the repubs, just check out a few of their degenerate comments on repub echo chambers to get a taste of that.

Love how recently Trumps have gotten on Bidens case for once messing up an accidently coughing into his hand after lowering his mask despite being tested negative for the virus . Meanwhile Trump is holding super spreader rallies and claiming he has a aura of immunity .

probably the best strategy I read concerning the "confirmation" hearings was that the Dems should start of by doing everything they could to delay them (and there are quite a few procedural measures they could have used to delayed the hearings up until the eve of the election) and then once they began effectively bycott them, leaving only one Dem member of the committee in place to point out that the hearings were illegitimate.
Basicly use the rules of the Senate to show how lawless the traitor party is.
