A sprawling General Motors assembly plant will be idled on Wednesday after more than 50 years producing cars and other vehicles, a move that will eliminate nearly 1,700 hourly positions by month's end.

Trump tried to get 5.7 billion for his wall.  He got his arse handed to him.  His next budget requests 8.6 billion dollars for the same wall from the same congress.  This is like watching 'Titanic' over and over again in the hope that the ship will miss the iceberg.

I dislike being harsh, but I'm starting to think that Mr. Trump isn't terribly bright.

The President of the United States once again raises the specter of violence against his political opponents and the nation hardly bats an eye.

President Trump in a new interview suggested that his supporters are tougher than Democrats, and that if they actually play tough things could get "very bad."

"I can tell you I have the support of the police, the support of the military, the support of the Bikers for Trump - I have the tough people, but they don't play it tough - until they go to a certain point, and then it would be very bad, very bad," Trump said.

"But the left plays it cuter and tougher. Like with all the nonsense that they do in Congress ... with all this invest[igations] - that's all they want to do is - you know, they do things that are nasty. Republicans never played this."

I can't watch Rachel Maddow. She's 1% news and 99% telling you how you should feel about it. I have the same problem with several of the people over at Fox. They are in the entertainment business, not the news business.

It is pretty creepy that they are still collecting this information they can't use. There is a court order in place preventing them from restricting them from interfering with affording termination services for these women. However Maddow did make it seem on her show that Lloyd was still in charge of these matters. He was canned (moved) a LONG time ago. Maddow failed to say anything about that.

Increasingly I see that both she and Chris Hayes offer very biased slants on the news. I turn off NSNBC when Chris Matthews is on. He is SO fucking rude to his guests ... who often have interesting things to say, but he interrupts them, talks over them, won't let them talk. They should rename his show "Watch Matthews do his rant". He has been voted the WORST cable host. He is simply obnoxious. I wish they would give his slot to Steve Kornacke ... who subs for him. He's pretty reasonable.
