McConnell, "Yeah, I have my state-provided medical for life, and I have enough money that I don't need Social Security but will take it anyway. All you poor people can go choke in your shit, or at least in the effluent from the coal mines that we never did reopen!" Sometimes I wish there really was a hell.

Well, at least that weaselly little fuck is up front with his intentions.
Maybe his statement will be enough to get Dems to make sure he isn't the majority leader come 2020.

"[If we] had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, however, we are unable to reach that judgment."
-- Mueller report
"No Obstruction!...It is now finally time to turn the tables and bring justice to some very sick and dangerous people who have committed very serious crimes, perhaps evern Spying and Treason."

That, imho, is the most damning statement possible right after actually indicting Trump.

As i have just wrote in "the other" forum: Muellers job was to find evidence for Trumps guilt. His job was to to find him innocent. The fact that Mueller felt it necessary to point explicitly out that he coulnt find Trump innocent, that should tell us alot, considering he is a staunch republican and 100% loyal to the constitution (and not to an individual).
What would you think about the defendant if the judge/state attorney said something (after a trial) along the line: "We couldnt find you guilty of rape, but i would like to point out that we we unable to conclude you are innocent. You are free to go."?

For Mueller, a life-long and fully current republitraitor, that's code for "yeah, he's as guilty as fuck". But the republitraitors would never dob in one of their own, especially if it meant the country going to shit as a result.

I read an article that said Mueller's report was actually more nuanced. He seemed to feel that it would be pointless to recommend indicting Trump, as the new attorney general slash lap dog would never move on it. What he seemed to be trying to do was invite Congress to pick up the ball and move forward with investigations that could establish obstruction. Maybe.
