Russell's is intended to describe one's own behaviour in a favourable light compared to other people behaving the same way. What Trump is doing here is better defined as 'being pig-ignorant'. Boru

Is Mike Pence a hypocrite (Christian) or is Christianity already a hypocrisy?

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

It's worth noting that the Republican National Convention has decided to show how committed they are to Trump's agenda, by refusing to adopt a new Platform and staying with the 2016 platform. Fun fact: the Democratic Party has pumped out a platform every election since 1840, the Republicans have one for every election from 1856 and 2016, and literally every third party to win a single electoral vote since 1860 has one available here. This is the first time a major party has foregone it.
In lieu of one, Trump has decided to release this bullet point list of goals for his second term.
Comparing the Universal Oneness of All Life to Yo Mama since 2010.

The strange part is the main part of the 2016 RNC platform was attacks on the current administration for incompetence. o to keep the same platform they are basically saying they are shit. You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis.
Trump is now asking for drug tests before the debates. Giving him more credit that he probably deserves, this is pretty cagey of him. He doesn’t really want to debate Biden, because - at some point - Biden will call him a liar and Trump with either lose it completely or walk out.
Knowing that it’s a long shot that Biden will agree to drug tests, Trump is hoping that will give him the ammo to 1) refuse to debate and 2) call Biden a coward. Or (as is much more likely) it’s just the latest in a long line of distractions. Boru

The chump has the best piss, and he's eager to prove it. In any event, if Biden agrees, and the chump agrees, then what? The chump will lie about the results, anyway.
