What the hell did you mean by "Poe" then? It has a clear meaning online. Be specific in your answer. If you weren't referring to Poe's Law, what were you referring to? And if you didn't have her post edited, did you edit it yourself?

As for sanctimony, I'm very well aware of my own failings. I'm not preaching to you anything, except know the limits of your own knowledge and act inside them. This will clearly be a hard lesson for you.

I don't think I'm better than you, but I do think I've learnt a little more about how to listen to disagreement. While I'm not "garbage", and while I haven't called you a single name that you haven't slung yourself at others.

Any user has the right to edit their posts for two hours, that is why the function exists. All post iterations, every edit, are always on the record.

To be clear---we consider posting properly edited content to be quoting inaccurately, especially when done to try to 'out' someone for content that they fixed or changed on purpose. That is why the post was snipped. We don't take editing any user's posts lightly.

I'm thinking that the original post speaks something to the poster's mindset. I also think that "Mrs Tibs" having such a thing done is horseshit. The original post was caught on the fly, as has happened plenty before with no such editing, and at that point it seems relevant to me.

Is there a rule against quoting edited posts in order to show meaning or motive? Once you hit "send", it's out in the wild. I've edited many posts, mostly for spelling, and sometimes to take out rudeness. And unlike some people, I'm willing to own that.

The last time I reported anything, it was a thread that needed to be split months ago. Lost my handles the report and we chatted. I do it so infrequently that I can remember every instance. You guys are mad at things that aren't real. Also, Tibs posts all the fucking time. At least, he's in here all the time. I have to rescue him from walking into things while he reads the forum constantly.

Thena, I made two claims. One, that there are plenty of antihistamines and two that there are several inject-able options. Neither of those claims is untrue. I will not say I'm "wrong" just to please you. Now, if someone were to read all of the straw men and rearranged goalposts in this thread and not my posts, you might see something like what you've mentioned. If you read my actual comments, it's hard to imagine what got you so crabby to begin with. You got pissy out of nowhere and the resident white knights rode in to save you from the mean, old Shell B.
