‘Pharma Bro’ Martin Shkreli convicted of fraud

“Prosecutors said a mountain of testimony and evidence at trial showed that Shkreli duped multiple investors into putting millions of dollars into two hedge funds he ran… by falsely claiming to have an excellent record of running such funds,” writes CNBC. “After getting their money, prosecutor said, Shkreli quickly lost much of it, and also used some of it to capitalize his infant pharmaceuticals company, Retrophin, even as he continued sending out financial statements to investors claiming positive returns.”

I'd worry that the WLB will pardon him because he loves business criminal assholes,  except Shkreli violated the first rule of the upper 1%:  Thou shalt not steal from other rich motherfuckers.  If you steal from poor people they think that is fine.

BINGO,

Wells Fargo cheated the middle class and the working poor and nobody went to prison. Madoff ripped off his own class and that is why he is doing time.

It is only a crime when you hurt the rich.

A really great book is Glenn Greewald's "With Liberty and Justice for Some".

The flag-waving assholes will hate it but who cares what they think.
