Wrong through my Christian growth I've found thing I use to believe not true because God has shown me the truth of a thing wrongly believed.
But it hasn't though, has it?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Then it's clearly a delusional state of mind that requires intense psychotherapy and a regimen of antipsychotic medications.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

There is no better way to convey the least amount of information in the greatest amount of words than to try explaining your religious views.

You're just proving our point that you're delusional because god didn't show you how to cure ALS, cancer, AIDS, some new power-source to replace oil or anything worth knowing. It's enough to look at the books written by people like you that have delusions of gaining some knowledge from supernatural and take in our hand any volume of divinity or school metaphysics, we can see it does not contain any abstract reasoning concerning quantity or number. They don't even contain any experimental reasoning concerning matter of fact and existence. They contain nothing more then sophistry and illusion.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

You have reading comprehension problems don't you. I was speaking about the beliefs I had about God and His plan.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

"God" hasn't "shown [you] the truth of a thing wrongly believed". Keep up. I don't want to have to provide your side of the conversation as well as mine.

Yeah silly me, I assumed you meant god showed you anything worth knowing, when in truth you claim he just showed you dick.

His side would make more sense if you provided it for him.

Sure He has, prove me wrong. Blank statements come from blank minds. You can't argue my side you have no idea what it's about.

It's your claim. We know you're full of shit. Put up or shut up.
