The whole evolution debate is so ridiculous.
It is a done deal. Time for theists to get over it, and find a way to integrate it into their beliefs. Science and medicine move on and advance, all based on evolution being a fact. And creationists take advantage of this fact when they receive advanced medical care. The thing is, even if evolution were to be proven wrong tomorrow, that would not add a shred of evidence to support the existence of a god. You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
